Recitals

NEC’s students meet one-on-one each week with a faculty artist to perfect their craft. As each student prepares to leave NEC and make their mark in the performance world, they present a full professional recital that is free and open to the public.

Community Performances and Partnerships

A recognized trailblazer, NEC’s Community Performances and Partnerships Program is one of the premier programs in the nation for engaging conservatory students with their community through robust, meaningful partnership activities and high-quality training.

CPP interacts annually with nearly 15,000 people through more than 600 events across ages, neighborhoods, ethnicities, and economic levels in Boston and beyond. CPP simultaneously provides NEC students a crucial opportunity to explore what it means to be a musician living in and contributing to community life within an atmosphere of supportive mentoring, professional development, and experiential learning.
